If your new neighbors are from out of town, they probably aren't very familiar with all that your area has to offer. Plan on welcoming them to your neighborhood and area by giving them a housewarming gift basket. Place a well-drawn map of your city with important places marked or highlighted, including the hospital, some local doctors' and dentists' offices, various churches, a couple of pharmacies, the local department store, playgrounds, parks, and the library. You can give them a chance to sample local restaurants with a few gift certificates, too. Finally, place a large, scented candle, some flavored coffees, gourmet candies, and nuts into the housewarming gift basket, and you've just made some new friends!
